The Shallow End of the Gene Pool
Last month, I left Blogspot after an incredibly irritating four hours in which I was unable to access their site.
Blogspot is back, and significantly improved. Of real use is free built-in commenting, which is the chief reason I went
here. I have decided to continue maintaining both sites, operating the other as a "mirror" site against future Blogspot problems. Sorry if this has caused anyone a case of whiplash.

When I started blogging, I couldn't spell HTML and I always have a morbid fear of making any changes. When Blogger goes down, I hunker down and just wait. Anytime I've tried to do something innovative, the whole world turns to crap and it takes forever to get back online. I now see that Blogger has comments. That's nice, but I'll hold off and continue using HaloScan until I see how well things work. It doesn't look like they provide a link to the commenter.
