"Neanderthals"

Ted Kennedy (D-Mass), reflecting on George Bush's judicial nominees, promised that the Democrats would continue to filibuster any "Neanderthals" the President sends up for nomination. Note that two of the nominees are minority candidates.

A Democrat internal memo reveals the party's intentions:

Miguel Estrada is described as "especially dangerous because he has a minimal paper trial, he is Latino, and the White House seems to be grooming him for a Supreme Court appointment."

He is Latino?? That makes him "especially dangerous"?? What a disgrace.
